Abide Lesson 1 Outline

 

 

Matthew 11:28–30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

What Is Real Christianity?

 

1. We give up all we have to Jesus. Psalm 141:8, Romans 12:1-2

• We give Him the full weight of our
  sin. Psalm 103:12, Isaiah 43:25

• We give Him our complete and utter inability
  to obey God.

2. Jesus gives up all He has to us. Matthew 11:28-30

• He gives us full pardon for our
  sin. Colossians 2:13-14

• Results in peace with God. Romans 5:1

• He gives us complete power to obey
  God. Galatians 2:20

•  Results in the peace of God.
